We’re so excited to announce our partnership with USRowing as an Official Supplier!

Though Gutzy has unofficially supported rowing’s US national governing body for a bit longer.

USRowing’s Performance Dietician discovered Gutzy back in 2018 and was initially impressed with the nutritional profile of our products. With its clean, plant-based ingredients, no added sugar, and low-glycemic release she thought Gutzy would be a great snack for the elite rowing athletes that USRowing supports and guides. She immediately reached out (a gutzy move!) to Founder and CEO David Istier to learn more. We’ve been providing pouches of Gutzy to US Rowing National Team athletes and members since then, mostly at USRowing’s membership tents at regattas across the country. The great feedback from rowers led to this larger and official (woo-hoo!) partnership.

The US Olympic Committe recognizes USRowing as the national governing body for the sport of rowing.

As David says, “our name (Gutzy) is at the center of everything we stand for: gut health, embracing challenges and never quitting on our dream. Rowing is a beautiful sport and totally aligns with our values and beliefs.”
